What should I expect when hiring NVN for my wedding or event?

Our fun, vetted and certified childcare providers create the perfect hospitality suite for your littlest guests. While the parents help you celebrate the night away, we'll make sure that the little ones are cared for. We work to create the perfect environment for kids. Our extensive collection of toys, games, and arts and crafts supplies will transform the dullest of meeting rooms into a playground of color, sights, and sounds to thrill the kids with! They will feel they are having a party of their own! All providers are CPR and FIRST AID certified with background checks. Many have Daycare experience, and therefore are able to handle a group of kids. They also enjoy working with the other providers as a team. Napa Valley Nannies are warm, friendly providers, who wish to fascilitate FUN, with structured and safe play!
WHAT WE BRING:
Countless QUALITY toys and arts and crafts materials! We think you and the kids will be quite impressed.
A few pieces of toddler/preschool furniture/ small blankets if needed. Venue is required to supply the rest.
2 large portable DVD players and movies if needed
Outdoor fun if appropriate - jumpropes, bubbles and balls!
We have worked many venues with a variety of ages and numbers of children! Some examples:
Solage Resort - Corporate event with 16 children starting at 14 months
Silverado Resort- Holiday Employee party with 32 children all over 4 years
Harvest Inn, Auberge, General's Daughter, and Sonoma Pavillion and others for wedding childcare.
Safety and Security:
We will have a Sign-In table, monitored by the lead nanny. Children are released only to the adults to drop them off unless specified differently. Sign in sheet will need a list of food allergies and description of any bags/items left with us.
What is a realistic and SAFE space for On-Site Childcare?
BEFORE WORKING ON A PROPOSAL, I MUST COME SEE THE VENUE IF WE HAVE NOT BEEN THERE. ESPECIALLY IF IT'S IN A HOME
This is not an exhaustive list, but gives a general idea of what we can and cannot work with.
YES! A sizeable, air-conditioned conference room with bathroom facilities - at least 500 SQ FT. Some outdoor lawn area would be great. About 35 square feet per person.
NO! I have seen a varitey of settings that are NOT CHILD FRIENDLY, and not at all adequate for a group of active kids.
- Victorian homes, that have a staircase and rooms filled with large pieces of furniture and antiques. Absolutely does not work for group care.
- Small 'cottage' or studio suite (unless it's perhaps just a couple kids with one nanny). We need enough room for our designated kid party area, and safe space to play!
- If the above NO list describes your venue, we will be happy to watch the children at the hotels where the families are staying.

Each event is unique with different needs. Please call for an estimate.
Ballpark "all-in" package rate quote for the minimum of 4 HOURS - 5 nannies, and 15 kids with different ages - about $1,200.00. More hours, or more kids, it will cost more
This is not finite, as all children have different needs, but this is the safest, and best ratio so that each child has the needed personalized attention from us:
Babies - 6 months-12 months - one nanny
Toddlers up to 2 years - one nanny per two
2-5 years - one nanny per two or three, depending on needs
over 5 years - one nanny per 4 or 5
